Flour Mills of Nigeria overhauls IT infrastructure with Nutanix for significant business improvements

Flour Mills of Nigeria, one of the largest single-site mills in the world, needed to replace an outdated legacy IT environment that was driving high maintenance costs, difficult administration, and business risk. The company partnered with Nutanix and used Nutanix NX-3060-G6/G7 appliances with Nutanix AHV to modernize its infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.

Nutanix implemented the new environment remotely, including migration of core applications such as Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, and provided high availability, simpler management, and better energy efficiency. The impact was significant: some tasks dropped from eight hours to 20 minutes, downtime was eliminated, and FMN said profits nearly tripled after the rollout.
