Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (Bangkhen Campus) Chooses Nutanix Enterprise Cloud to Enhance its IT Capabilities

Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (Bangkhen Campus), a leading Thai engineering school serving about 6,000 students and staff, faced fragmented IT with servers spread across 17 buildings, no central IT policy, limited personnel and frequent instability. The faculty needed a centralized, secure, scalable and cost‑effective platform to deliver Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service and Platform‑as‑a‑Service (with plans for future SaaS) to support teaching, research and administrative services.

The faculty deployed the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud platform (first installed March 2015, private cloud from November 2016) using Nutanix Prism, Acropolis and AHV—completed in a single day—to virtualize servers and centralize services.
