DuMont Embarks on the Journey to the Hybrid Cloud with Nutanix

DuMont Media Group, one of Germany’s oldest media companies, needed a more flexible and faster IT foundation to support digital growth and new business models. Its traditional three-tier infrastructure was complex to manage, expensive to run, and hard to scale across on-premises and cloud environments, so the company turned to Nutanix and Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure.

Nutanix helped DuMont modernize its data center, migrate workloads from VMware ESXi to AHV, and build a hybrid cloud-ready environment with disaster recovery. The results were strong: operating effort dropped by at least 60%, virtualization costs fell by 30%, and the company reduced its VM footprint from 1,100 to 600 while improving scalability, resilience, and space/power efficiency.
