Doctors' Center Hospital - Orlando Health is a Puerto Rico healthcare network operating five facilities with 630 beds that relies on a centralized IT environment to run electronic medical records, radiology and other clinical systems. Faced with limited data center space, frequent hardware failures, long part-replacement delays on the island, and power constraints, the IT team struggled with bottlenecks and unacceptable downtime that threatened 24/7 patient care.

Working with CPCorp, the hospital deployed Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Manager, AHV and Unified Storage) and migrated critical applications, including Meditech EMR and radiology, to the new platform. The result was faster, more reliable application performance, unified management and proactive monitoring, stronger data protection and reduced licensing and operational costs—delivering higher uptime, easier scalability for future upgrades, and improved overall patient-care continuity.
