Case Study: Computer Service Centre achieves scalable, resilient cloud growth with Nutanix

A Nutanix Case Study

Preview of the Computer Service Centre Case Study

Computer Service Centre runs its cloud services platform on Nutanix for scale, resilience, simplicity and growth

Computer Service Centre, a UK managed service provider, needed to reduce infrastructure complexity, speed up customer onboarding, and improve performance and resilience as its cloud services business grew. Its legacy Hyper-V and SAN-based environment was becoming hard to manage, with customer setups taking up to three months and operational tasks like patching and fault detection becoming increasingly difficult. Computer Service Centre chose Nutanix AOS and AHV virtualization after evaluating options with Softcat and Nutanix.

Nutanix helped Computer Service Centre simplify operations, migrate customers to a hyperconverged platform, and scale without expanding its infrastructure team. The company now supports hundreds of virtual machines for 3,500 users across about 500 locations, has improved service levels, and can double or triple infrastructure under management more easily. Nutanix also enabled new disaster recovery services, faster triage, and stronger profitability while supporting very competitive pricing.
