Clínica Medilaser SAS, a leading health service provider in Colombia, needed to modernize its traditional three-tier data center and improve scalability, availability, and management. It chose Nutanix, along with Lenovo hardware, to replace its legacy infrastructure with a hyperconverged solution.

Nutanix and Lenovo implemented Lenovo ThinkAgile HX5520 appliances running Nutanix Cloud Platform in a single software-defined cluster. The new environment delivers 175 TB of storage, supports more than 60 virtual machines, and is managed through Nutanix Prism, helping Clínica Medilaser run EMR, PACS, SQL databases, and other workloads more efficiently while also enabling it to offer flexible cloud hosting services.
