Central Highlands Regional Council supports rapidly changing requirements with Nutanix

Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) needed a more scalable, modern data center to support fast-changing requirements, remote work, and a growing multi-cloud strategy. Working with Nutanix partner Truis, the council chose Nutanix HCI along with Nutanix Prism and Nutanix Files to replace its legacy three-tier infrastructure and simplify management.

Nutanix and Truis deployed Nutanix nodes at production and DR sites, migrated key workloads and databases, and enabled replication, backups, and cloud connectivity. The result was a 50% reduction in data center footprint and UPS load, annual TCO savings of AUD$50,000 to AUD$100,000, and a 25% reduction in IT management workloads, with new VMs now spinning up in hours instead of days.
