Cashman Equipment, a top dealer of Cat equipment with multiple locations, needed to replace aging storage and compute systems and simplify IT management across its business applications. The company turned to Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform, along with Nutanix Data Protection and Disaster Recovery, to move to a more scalable hyperconverged infrastructure.

Nutanix helped Cashman Equipment migrate about 100 virtual machines into a single environment, with deployment taking only about two hours. The results included centralized dashboard management, improved efficiency for the small IT team, and a reduction in data center footprint from 32 rack units to four, while also enabling one-click disaster recovery failover and easier business continuity.
