Canal+ Group, a global audiovisual leader with more than 25 million subscribers and a major film catalogue through StudioCanal, faced an urgent infrastructure challenge: it had to decommission a datacenter and migrate 800 VMs—including 70 VMs for Avid editing—within a five‑month window while the replacement site was still under construction and cloud support for Avid was not guaranteed.
