Belgium’s Kinepolis Group Gives Nutanix Great Reviews

Kinepolis Group, a Belgium-based cinema chain that welcomes nearly 24 million visitors a year across Europe, needed to stay ahead of competition by continuously improving the guest experience while reducing IT cost and complexity. With 50 cinemas and many remote sites that lacked technical admins, the company required a high-performance, easy-to-deploy solution that could be managed centrally for ticketing, concessions, security, ERP and other critical services.

Kinepolis deployed Nutanix Enterprise Cloud clusters in its main datacenter and at 22 remote theaters, using Prism for a single-pane view and one-click management. The consolidation accelerated performance, shortened firmware and upgrade windows from hours to minutes, cut IT management time roughly fivefold, eliminated the need for onsite IT specialists, and freed the IT team to focus on strategic initiatives that improve the customer experience.
