BEA Elevates Compliance with AI-powered Fintech Application

The Bank of East Asia (BEA), a leading Hong Kong-based financial services group founded in 1918, sought to strengthen sales surveillance and compliance while modernizing its IT to support fintech innovation. BEA needed a hybrid multicloud approach that could securely analyze customer interactions (calls, emails, live chat) and scale AI-enabled tools without adding operational complexity.

BEA deployed the Nutanix Cloud Platform (AOS, AHV), Nutanix Cloud Manager and Unified Storage integrated with Red Hat OpenShift, and partnered with Fano Labs to run an AI-powered speech-to-text solution. The combined solution runs across edge, on‑prem and public clouds, simplified management and automated VM workflows, improved resource allocation and agility, and materially boosted the bank’s compliance and risk‑management capabilities.
