Regional Development Bank of Bali (Bank BPD Bali), a regional financial institution supporting SMEs and the tourism sector, needed to modernize legacy, fragmented infrastructure with a three-person IT team to better serve customers, meet regulatory requirements, and accelerate time to market for digital services. The bank’s challenge was to centralize and simplify operations, reduce operational risk and downtime, and scale IT efficiently to capture a larger share of Bali and West Nusa Tenggara’s SME market.

Bank BPD Bali migrated 72 servers to the Nutanix Cloud Platform (AOS/AHV with Prism) with support from Multipolar Technology, enabling datacenter-to-DR replication in 4 hours and delivering a 15-minute RPO and 99.9% uptime. The move cut datacenter footprint by 70%, improved IT efficiency by up to 70%, reduced operating costs (power and cooling) by as much as 80%, and provided a scalable foundation for faster digital services and future hybrid multicloud adoption.
