Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) was looking to strengthen its digital and Islamic banking operations while removing bottlenecks in IT provisioning and improving service availability. By partnering with Nutanix and standardizing on its platform, BisB aimed to support faster application development, better performance, and more seamless banking experiences for customers.

With Nutanix, BisB cut database cluster provisioning from up to five days to under an hour and reduced the staffing needed from four engineers to one. Nutanix also helped boost Microsoft SQL workload performance by 70% and improve backup performance by 90%, shrinking backup windows to minutes and eliminating planned downtime for scaling, while simplifying troubleshooting through single-case support.
