A Nutanix Case Study
Asia University, one of Taiwan’s fastest-growing private universities, needed to modernize its aging datacenter to support rising data, storage and e-learning demand (notably Moodle) and to improve operational efficiency. Its legacy architecture was inflexible, hard to manage for a lean IT team, and constrained by space and budget—threatening the university’s digitalization and international ambitions.
The university replaced its legacy stack with the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (NX-series running AHV), migrating Moodle, Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint onto the HCI environment. The results included immediate application-performance improvements and fewer user complaints, much faster troubleshooting via Nutanix Prism, an 85% reduction in datacenter footprint, and nearly NT$1 million in annual license savings—giving Asia University greater scalability and agility for future growth.
