Case Study: Apollo Pharmacy achieves 1.7x faster ERP performance and 40–50% TCO savings with Nutanix hybrid cloud

A Nutanix Case Study

Preview of the Apollo Pharmacy Case Study

Apollo Pharmacy, Asia’s largest pharmacy retailer, adopts hybrid cloud for supply chain transformation and retail front office

Apollo Pharmacy, Asia’s largest pharmacy retailer with more than 6,300 stores, a 120 million‑item e‑commerce catalog (Apollo 247) and over 300 million prescriptions processed annually, needed greater control, performance and cost-efficiency than its public‑cloud‑only IT strategy could provide. The company wanted a hybrid cloud approach to improve ERP and supply‑chain responsiveness, gain compliant, high‑capacity GPU access for ML, and reduce total cost of ownership.

Apollo partnered with Nutanix to deploy the Nutanix Cloud Platform on‑premises, migrating Microsoft Dynamics and SQL databases and using AOS, AHV and Prism while piloting Nutanix Cloud Clusters and GPT‑in‑a‑Box. The move delivered 1.7× faster ERP performance, up to 40–50% lower TCO, stronger disaster‑recovery and compliance capabilities, and freed resources to invest in customer‑facing innovations and ML use cases.
