Case Study: IntraLAN achieves greater scalability and faster service development with Nutanix Cloud Platform

Ambitious UK Services Provider selects Nutanix to support their evolving Product Portfolio as they aim to enter new sectors of the market

IntraLAN, a UK managed IT services provider, was outgrowing its aging datacentre infrastructure, which was nearing end of life and limiting performance, capacity, and the company’s ability to launch new services. The pressure was especially high for its planned Microsoft Teams Direct Routing offering and future expansion into larger customer segments, making the need for a more scalable on-premises platform urgent. Nutanix was selected, with the Nutanix Cloud Platform and AHV hypervisor recommended to replace the legacy environment.

Nutanix, implemented with help from Softcat, delivered a smooth migration completed in just a few days, with no major issues. The new platform improved performance, simplified management through Prism and 1-click updates, and gave IntraLAN the capacity to deploy and scale workloads on demand. As a result, IntraLAN quickly launched its Teams Direct Routing service and gained the confidence to pursue new services and future datacentre expansion with Nutanix.
