Case Study: Agilis Networks achieves high availability and reduced data center footprint with Nutanix

A Nutanix Case Study

Preview of the Agilis Networks Case Study

Agilis Networks Builds Business-to-Business Applications on Nutanix

Agilis Networks, founded in 1997, is a B2B fiber-based internet, WAN, voice and hosted services provider serving enterprise customers in Northern Ontario. As it expanded its customer-facing virtual services, Agilis needed a highly available, resilient storage and compute platform that could be replicated across sites, meet strict uptime requirements, and reduce power and rack footprint.

Agilis deployed a Nutanix NX-6000 hyperconverged solution with three-node clusters and Prism management, which was up and running quickly and easy to scale. The result: improved high availability for customer applications, a threefold reduction in data-center footprint versus traditional servers, simplified management, and an estimated $12,000 in power savings per three nodes over three years, along with strong vendor support and plans to extend Nutanix for DR and internal workloads.
