Egency, a Veenendaal–based managed service provider serving mostly small businesses, needed to reduce the burden on its IT team—fewer highly skilled admins, more help-desk staff, less infrastructure overhead—and stop staff being constantly on call. Their goal was to simplify management, improve visibility, and make scaling easier to support growing customer needs.
They migrated to Nutanix HCI for single‑pane management, hardware flexibility, and simple scalability. The move cut data center footprint and costs, reduced downtime, delivered major performance gains, and made troubleshooting much easier. Egency now runs about 200 VMs across 25 customers, can scale quickly, is investing in Nutanix ECA training and VDI exploration, and has improved staff work/life balance.
