Boulder Dam Credit Union needed to replace a difficult-to-manage VMware environment that required after-hours maintenance, had limited rollback options, and often suffered from slow support and poor documentation. Nutanix implemented a single-cluster deployment using Nutanix Move for migration, along with Nutanix AHV, Nutanix Frame, Nutanix Files, and Nutanix Prism. The migration finished in 1.5 days instead of the 3 days planned, support resolved one issue in 30 minutes, and BDCU now runs 25 VMs and 25 VDIs with simpler management, lower licensing costs, faster file access, and less downtime.
