DaVita, a Fortune 500 kidney care company operating more than 2,000 dialysis facilities with thousands of team members, struggled with complex, time-consuming staffing and scheduling processes that left managers and staff frustrated—relying on texts, calls and printed schedules to fill last-minute absences and PTO. NurseGrid rolled out its mobile-first solution in a 16-facility plus one float-pool pilot, enabling managers and clinicians to fill shifts, distribute schedules, and ensure coverage from their phones. Within three months NurseGrid cut perceived Facility Administrator floor time by 50% and drove a +74‑point swing in Net Promoter Score (from –34 pre‑implementation to +40 post‑implementation), substantially improving manager satisfaction.
