Rambus Enriches IT Processes with Window into Operational Health

Rambus is a semiconductor IP and products company that set out to streamline IT so the organization could focus more on innovation. Under VP of IT Mark Grimes, the IT 3.0 initiative found that manual reporting and limited visibility were consuming time and obscuring operational problems—manifesting in high MTTR, uneven technician workloads, and blind spots in incident management.

Rambus deployed Numerify’s cloud BI dashboards to centralize historical views across incidents, problems, changes and service requests. The dashboards revealed technicians with double workloads, aging incidents, and anomalous category growth; by rebalancing tickets and targeting hot spots, the team reduced MTTR, improved service-health visibility, and enabled data-driven behavioral change and prioritization of future investments.
