Large Pharmaceutical Company needed to identify and remove intellectual property from a subsidiary’s servers and departing users’ mailboxes within a two-month window before a divestiture closed and access to those systems was lost. To meet this tight deadline the company engaged Nuix and deployed Nuix Workstation and Nuix Collector to process, index and analyze the data in the subsidiary’s data center.

Nuix used those tools to discover, classify and remediate IP and sensitive content, search email mailboxes, and surface redundant or non‑business data for removal. As a result, the intellectual property on the subsidiary’s systems was remediated in accordance with the divestiture closing schedule, reducing compliance and IP exposure and helping lower potential IT storage and migration costs.
