General Electric worked with digital agency Barbarian on the “Drop Science” campaign, a music track and documentary built from sounds of GE’s machinery. The team faced a challenge common to content-heavy campaigns: measuring performance across a large mix of owned, earned, and paid channels and proving the value of the investment. Nudge helped provide the needed campaign reporting and analysis.
Using Nudge’s real-time dashboard and daily reporting, GE and Barbarian tracked performance across 70 content sites, compared engagement across platforms like SoundCloud and BuzzFeed, monitored mobile behavior, and identified earned media opportunities. Nudge helped consolidate all campaign data into one view, revealing insights such as a peak of 6 people per second, a new social content app driving up to 19% of earned impressions, and which channels and formats performed best.
