Vivensa Foundation rebrands in 2025 with Nucleus after managing £170m in assets

The Vivensa Foundation, formerly known as The Dunhill Medical Trust, is a leading investor in medical research. With a refined strategic focus on funding academic and clinical research to improve health in later life, the organization engaged the brand naming agency Nucleus to develop a new name that would better reflect its active role and support its next stage of growth.

Nucleus developed the new name ‘Vivensa’, a neologism based on the Latin word for ‘live’, and managed the transition to Vivensa Foundation. The solution included comprehensive trademark and domain registration to secure the brand's intellectual property. The new name was unanimously approved by the Trustees and successfully launched to the public in April 2025, marking a significant new chapter for the foundation. Nucleus delivered a name that accurately reflects the client's mission as an impact-intentional investor.
