RBL Bank, one of India’s fastest‑growing commercial banks, needed to rapidly expand its transaction banking footprint (targeting 80–100 new branches), improve customer experience with internet banking, integrate real‑time payments with its core and payment gateway, and automate manual processes. To meet these challenges the bank selected Nucleus Software and its FinnAxia transaction banking platform in 2014.

Nucleus Software implemented a green‑field FinnAxia rollout for payments, receivables and internet banking, integrating with Finacle, OTP and other in‑house systems. The solution supported faster product launches and onboarding (1,090 corporate customers onboarded 2014–18), enabled ~4,500 web users, processed $304M across 130,000+ mobile internet transactions, and drove a 390% increase in corporate banking transactions while reducing processing time and improving operational efficiency.
