Religare Finvest Limited, an SME-focused NBFC, was grappling with manual, paper-based field debt collection that caused frequent data errors, reconciliation issues, loss/theft risk of receipt books, float-cash exposure and slow follow-ups across dispersed teams. To modernize collections, Religare Finvest partnered with Nucleus Software and its FinnOne platform, adopting the FinnOne mCollect mobility solution to address these operational and compliance challenges.

Nucleus Software implemented and customized FinnOne mCollect — a mobile, offline-capable collections app integrated with FinnOne LMS — and recommended compatible handsets and a tested Web server environment for rollout. The deployment achieved over 90% field penetration within months and processed more than 25,000 payments in six months; per-receipt cost fell to 30% of prior expenses, float money dropped 85%, SOA/FC TAT went from 5–7 days to zero and overall TAT improved 1–2 days, while errors, reconciliation issues and paper handling were significantly reduced and customer satisfaction increased.
