Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd., a pioneer in prefab housing expanding globally into markets like China, the U.S., Australia and Southeast Asia, faced growing IT strain as image, video and voice traffic surged alongside core system access to a centralized SAP data center. To eliminate delays that were affecting mission-critical accounting and communications across 300 offices worldwide, Daiwa House selected NTT Global Networks and its Arcstar Universal One service to redesign its global ICT infrastructure.

NTT Global Networks implemented a segmented, low-latency network using Arcstar Universal One and Arcstar Global IP‑VPN to connect 300 offices (plus two offshore sites), issued 5,000 mobile cards, and deployed an integrated mobile and Wi‑Fi network. The new setup doubled available bandwidth at the same cost, eliminated delay complaints even at peak times, sped up overseas office setup, reduced maintenance and operational burdens, and improved business continuity and global collaboration.
