Asahi Glass Co. Ltd., a global glass manufacturer, faced poor collaboration among its offices and inconsistent security standards across regions. To address these issues it engaged NTT Global Networks, leveraging services such as Enterprise Cloud and Arcstar Universal One to consolidate platforms and improve secure connectivity.

NTT Global Networks integrated AGC’s email and authentication platforms in a Japan data center, linked Asian offices via Enterprise Cloud’s Internet gateway and Arcstar Universal One, and deployed virtual firewalls, IPS and load balancing. The rollout delivered dramatically faster communication across Japan and Asia, a unified address book and email domain, centralized virus scanning and incident management, and reduced infrastructure costs and operational workloads by eliminating local mail/authentication servers.
