Mitsui & Co., Ltd. faced a fragmented, regionally operated IT landscape across 138 offices and 462 subsidiaries in 65 regions and needed a standardized, scalable global infrastructure with consistent transmission quality and easier troubleshooting. To meet these challenges Mitsui selected NTT Global Networks to provide a one-stop solution using services such as Arcstar Universal One, Enterprise Cloud, Nexcenter and Global Management One (with NFV enhancements) to unify networking, cloud and managed services.

NTT Global Networks built a global communications infrastructure—deploying Arcstar Universal One VPN coverage (operating in 196 countries) linked to regional Enterprise Cloud and Nexcenter data centers, centralized monitoring via Global Management One, and dedicated regional project teams—to deliver a uniform IT environment. The result was a standardized IT platform across 138 Mitsui offices, seamless real-time collaboration (improved web conferencing and shared ID authentication), centralized operations and multi‑language help desk support, accelerating office launches, boosting meeting productivity and enabling Mitsui’s global workstyle reform.
