Telefonica Germany, one of Germany’s largest telecom providers with over 43 million mobile customers and roughly 1,750 O2 shops, needed to rapidly retrain more than 1,000 store employees after its merger with E-Plus to ensure consistent process know‑how. To address varied employee skill levels and large scale, Telefonica Germany turned to NTS Retail and its web‑based NTS eTrainer eLearning solution for training, documentation and process transfer.

NTS Retail delivered a customized NTS eTrainer that guides learners through business cases with instructional videos, hands‑on practice in the application UI and end‑of‑course quizzes. The solution integrated into existing learning platforms so managers could track completions and quiz results, enabled a successful go‑live of new store processes, cut costs by reducing on‑site training, sped up onboarding of new staff and helped avoid costly support requests — effectively training the more than 1,000 employees required.
