9mobile, a Nigerian telecom operator with about 18 million subscribers and more than 150 retail shops, needed a flexible, scalable point-of-sale and inventory management platform to handle high transaction volumes, improve service turnaround times and support short- and long-term business objectives. NTS Retail was selected to provide its Retail Management Suite, including the NTS Point of Sales (POS), NTSwincash replicator and retail hub to meet these requirements.

NTS Retail implemented an integrated solution—POS, inventory management, NTSwincash replicator (deployed in 100 of 150 shops), reporting (NTS reporter) and integrations with ERP, CRM and LDAP—that ensured uninterrupted transactions even with intermittent internet, real-time KPI tracking and consolidated reporting across levels. The NTS Retail deployment increased shop productivity and operational transparency, delivered the scalability and flexibility 9mobile sought, and tied all retail systems together for faster business decision-making.
