Security Council of the Republic of Tatarstan needed a way to improve public safety and investigation work in Almetyevsk by using video from cameras installed at residential building entrances and daycare centers. NtechLab provided its FindFace system to connect these access surveillance cameras to facial recognition analytics.

NtechLab’s solution enabled authorities to identify and investigate people captured on camera in near real time, with notifications arriving in no more than 5 seconds. In testing, the system achieved more than 84% accuracy on masked or covered faces, maintained a false positive rate below 0.1% across 35,000 passes, and helped support approval for rollout across Almetyevsk and later expansion throughout Tatarstan.
