Atea, a leading IT infrastructure provider, faced the challenge of manually tracking the hundreds of inbound packages it receives daily at its Oslo head office. This lack of a unified system led to frequent delays, lost items, and inefficient use of warehouse space. To solve this, Atea expanded its use of the nShift Ship solution, integrated with the Scan App, to gain control over its inbound logistics.
The nShift solution enabled employees to scan each parcel upon arrival, which automatically logged it in the system, assigned an internal barcode, and sent alerts to recipients. This gave Atea full visibility and control over every delivery from arrival to collection. The immediate results included freed-up warehouse space, faster internal delivery cycles, and a drastic reduction in lost items, leading to a successful rollout of the system across other branches.
