MSO Leverages Nrby’s Flexible Framework to Accelerate Plant Construction

Arvig, a Minnesota-based employee-owned broadband and telecommunications provider, needed a better way to manage its construction workflows. Its field crews were relying on manual paper-based updates and spreadsheets, which slowed communication, created inaccurate data, and delayed construction and customer service. To fix this, Arvig turned to Nrby and its flexible mobile framework to help streamline job tracking and coordination.

Working with Nrby, Arvig integrated its internally built Service Delivery App and SideKick crew management tool into a single mobile experience for employees and contractors. The solution eliminated paper, improved reporting accuracy, and sped up construction handoffs, helping Arvig improve construction task completions by 41% in about five months, or nearly 12 days on average. The system is now used by about 50 internal users across 66 crews and 16 third-party contractor companies, with Nrby also supporting future automation efforts.
