Leading National Gas Distributor Company, a natural gas transportation, storage and distribution operator with 9,000 kilometers of pipeline and more than 420 gas distribution sites, needed real-time visibility into its OT network and communications uptime. The company wanted to verify that its managed service provider was meeting contracted service levels while also improving operational awareness and security, and turned to Nozomi Networks Guardian and Central Management Console for help.

Nozomi Networks deployed Guardian R50 appliances in a proof of concept and then scaled to more than 420 field appliances, integrated with the MSP/TSP’s control center. The solution provided detailed asset inventory, real-time monitoring, and visibility into communications links across the network, enabling monthly service-level reporting and confidence that agreed availability targets were being met.
