Social Media Engagement at CPhI worldwide A Pharma First

CPhI Worldwide, the world’s largest pharmaceutical networking event with roughly 30,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors, wanted to drive attendee and exhibitor engagement through social media across the vast Messe Frankfurt venue. NowSignage stepped in to help by deploying a social media-driven digital signage approach using its EventBeat Twitter Wall solution to amplify the official hashtag #cphiww and encourage live online participation.

NowSignage implemented a multi-feed Twitter Wall on 20 venue screens with seven distinct feeds (General, Exhibitor, Pictures & Comments, Image Slide, Q&A and a dedicated Buyer feed), plus an announcement stream and moderation/organise tools. Over the three-day event NowSignage pushed 127 announcements, broadcast 139 buyer requests, managed sentiment in real time, and identified top influencers—significantly increasing on-site social engagement and providing CPhI Worldwide with actionable insights for future events.
