Netflix engaged NowSignage to create a fully immersive experience for the London launch of Orange Is the New Black Season 3. The challenge was to connect the London VIP event (about 200 attendees) with a simultaneous New York launch and to deliver live video and social content onto venue screens using Periscope integration.
NowSignage implemented Periscope live-streaming with an override feature that could push the New York feed to London screens for scheduled intervals while blending verified cast tweets and live comments into a unified social feed. The result was a seamless, real-time connection between the two launch parties, a highly engaging experience for the ~200 VIP guests, and a successful, first-of-its-kind live broadcast onto venue screens by NowSignage.
