Mirror Group turned to NowSignage to reinforce brand recognition at the Great North Run. Facing a crowd of about 56,000 participants and the need to drive broad on-site engagement, Mirror Group used NowSignage’s digital/social signage services (LED video playback and a Twitter wall) to run branded promotional videos and short internal ads throughout the event.

NowSignage implemented a scheduled content program — a branded promo video every 10 minutes plus three internal ads at 30‑second intervals over a 12‑hour period — and curated a live Twitter wall using #GNRshoutout for display on large LED screens. The campaign reached the majority of attendees, generated 388 uses of the hashtag that were moderated and broadcast, and delivered clear lifts in visibility and positive brand recognition for Mirror Group.
