Manchester United needed a branded, interactive display solution for its 2013 End of Season Ball & Awards ceremony to encourage attendee interaction and showcase social media content. NowSignage provided a tailored social-media/Twitter wall digital signage service to deliver branded screens and a moderation interface for live tweets.
NowSignage deployed Twitter walls across fourteen 50-inch screens and two nine‑foot screens, curated and filtered tweets to ensure appropriateness, and archived all posts for benchmarking. The installation drove strong engagement: about 603 guests produced 709 tweets (152 of which were broadcast) and roughly 25 Twitpics were shown, with the hashtag #beingunited trending in the Manchester area.
