Barclays Premier League brought live Premier League action to a Mumbai fan park and needed a way to entertain thousands, amplify fan interaction and drive social media engagement across the weekend. To achieve this they used NowSignage digital signage, deploying the EventBeat social feed on two large screens to combine live match coverage with curated social content.
NowSignage ran one screen showing the matches alongside highlighted tweets and MC-led callouts, while a second screen ran the bespoke EventBeat feed—displaying top Tweets, Instagram images and a competitive “battle-off” between rival fans. The approach increased on-site participation and social media activity, drew star endorsements from Robbie Fowler, Emile Heskey and Peter Schmeichel, and helped attract some 30,000 fans to watch Manchester United vs Liverpool live from the fan park.
