A Novi AMS Case Study
The Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) had long wanted to launch a Service Training Academy to train and place maintenance technicians, but was hampered for a decade by a cumbersome AMS, slow onboarding, and manual bookkeeping that consumed staff time (the bookkeeper spent about 25 hours/week on books). With limited staff and no reliable AMS support, MMHA couldn’t free up the resources needed to start the program without hiring an additional employee costing roughly $62,500/year.
After switching to Novi AMS, MMHA automated many tasks, eliminated time-consuming data entry, and regained about 40 staff hours per week, allowing the association to launch the Service Training Academy without adding headcount. In eight months the program graduated 28 people, all placed in full-time roles earning $15–$17/hour with benefits—outcomes MMHA credits directly to Novi AMS’s streamlined processes and responsive support.
