The Apartment Association of New Mexico (AANM), a private non-profit trade group with more than 800 primary and associate members representing over 55,000 rental units, struggled with dues invoicing under its prior AMS. Executive Director Kelle Senyé describes a recurring problem with one member, Mr. Lopez (who has four units), who received three separate dues invoices totaling $124 per year; because of limited tech familiarity and a language barrier he typically paid only one invoice and ignored the others, leaving staff to sort out payments months later.

By switching to Novi AMS, AANM used the system’s ability to learn dues hierarchy scenarios and simplify invoicing, allowing staff to post Mr. Lopez’s full 2018 payment in December without repeated outreach. Novi AMS eliminated the recurring billing confusion (three invoices into a single correct payment), reduced staff effort on manual fixes, and noticeably improved the member’s experience.
