The City of Albuquerque needed a centralized system to coordinate emergency shelter capacity, as relying on manual processes and disconnected data posed a significant risk for this life-critical operation. Noventum was engaged to develop a purpose-built shelter management solution to address this challenge.

Noventum developed a custom Django-based web application that provided real-time visibility into bed availability across all city facilities. The solution integrated automated daily synchronization with the city's ArcGIS data feed, Google Maps visualization, and an HMIS-based check-in system. This eliminated manual data entry, streamlined operations, and enabled faster placement of individuals in need, greatly improving the efficiency and coordination of emergency shelter services for the City of Albuquerque.
