Sarasota County School Board Dramatically Saves Payroll Processing Time using NOVAtime Workforce Management Solution

Sarasota County Schools turned to NOVAtime to improve timekeeping and payroll for more than 900 food service and custodial employees. Before the project, employee hours were entered manually from handwritten timesheets into its EDS payroll system, which was slow, error-prone, and required multiple staff members to spend days processing payroll.

NOVAtime implemented its Workforce Management / Time and Attendance solution to capture time electronically and provide real-time supervisor oversight. The result was a major reduction in payroll processing time: a job that once took several people several days could be completed by one person in about 10 minutes, while also helping the district reduce errors and better monitor late arrivals and unauthorized overtime.
