Nu-Pak, Inc., a Wisconsin-based packaging, converting, manufacturing, and warehousing company, needed a more efficient way to manage complex schedules, track employee qualifications, and handle FMLA leave. NOVAtime provided its Workforce Management / Time & Attendance solution, including the Advanced Schedule Manager (ASM) and FMLA modules.

With NOVAtime’s ASM, supervisors could update schedules on the fly and automatically notify employees of changes, while the FMLA module streamlined leave tracking and auto-populated timesheets with the proper leave code. NOVAtime also helped speed up payroll preparation by automatically pulling needed data, reducing manual entry and saving the payroll specialist about half a day of work. Employees benefited from NOVAmobile for viewing schedules and requesting time off in real time, while Nu-Pak reduced errors and improved efficiency.
