Case Study: Boston Culinary Group streamlines Super Bowl workforce management with NOVAtime 3000

A NOVAtime Case Study

Preview of the Boston Culinary Group Case Study

NOVAtime Technology goes to Super Bowl XLI in 2007

Boston Culinary Group needed to quickly upgrade its time and attendance process to support a 3,000-person staff for Super Bowl XLI, while also preventing buddy punching and ensuring all workers were actually on site and ready to serve. They turned to NOVAtime Technology and its NOVAtime 3000 Enterprise Edition workforce management system, installed and serviced by National Time Systems.

NOVAtime implemented a web-enabled time and attendance solution with biometric handreader terminals, real-time supervisor tools, and a custom interface to Ultipro Payroll, all within a four-week deadline. The system helped Boston Culinary Group accurately track employees, streamline payroll preparation, and manage labor data in real time, enabling the company to feed 75,000 Super Bowl attendees and the expanded press corps successfully, and continue using the system at the Bank Atlantic Center.
