NOVAtime Donates Biometric Time Clocks to Longtime Customer Ascension Parish Public Schools After Louisiana Floods

Ascension Parish Public Schools, a Louisiana school district with more than 2,500 employees across 28 schools and other facilities, needed a complete workforce management solution to track time, attendance, and leave. The district was already using NOVAtime 4000 SaaS with biometric time clocks, and after the 2016 Louisiana floods damaged several schools and a warehouse, it also needed replacement clocks and an upgraded system.

NOVAtime upgraded the district to the latest NOVAtime 5000 SaaS Workforce Management Solution and donated 12 NT7000 smart time clocks and 20 NT450 time clocks to replace equipment lost in the flooding. The solution continued to support fingerprint clock-ins, employee self-service, and leave request workflows with audit trails, while giving staff real-time access to accrual balances and usage history. The effort helped restore operations during a difficult recovery and expanded the district’s ability to use more advanced NOVAtime features in the future.
