Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative serving nearly 11,000 members across three branches in York County, Pennsylvania, was using a paper-based timekeeping process that required employees to submit timesheets by hand, interoffice mail, or fax. This created delays in timesheet approvals and payroll processing, leading the credit union to look for a more efficient workforce management solution from NOVAtime.
NOVAtime implemented the NOVAtime 4000 SaaS time and attendance/workforce management solution through NE Time Systems. The system automated time and attendance, approvals, reporting, and payroll export, cutting the payroll process from 45 minutes to 10 minutes and reducing final review time from 30 to 45 minutes to about 10 minutes. Heritage Valley also gained easier access to time-off information, more than 100 reporting templates, and a user-friendly system that employees adopted quickly, while NOVAtime helped the organization complete approvals before Monday morning payroll runs.
