A NOVAtime Case Study
Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc., a family-owned agricultural products company in eastern Iowa, needed a reliable time and attendance system for employees working across multiple sites and in environments where dirt, scars, and other hand conditions made fingerprint readers unreliable. The company had already relied on NOVAtime for years, using NOVAtime 2000 and then NOVAtime 3000 with GT400P hand punch time clocks to automate workforce tracking.
NOVAtime helped Eldon C. Stutsman upgrade to the cloud-based NOVAtime 4000 SaaS Lite workforce management solution and add more GT400P HandPunch clocks. The new system improved employee identification, reduced buddy punching, gave workers and supervisors real-time access to punches, schedules, leave, and accruals, and eliminated the need for IT database administration. NOVAtime also made payroll integration with HK Works easier, lowered implementation and ownership costs, and provided 24/7 browser-based access for HR from any location.
