Cherry Optical Upgrades to the NOVAtime 4000 SaaS Workforce Management Solution

Cherry Optical, a family-owned optical services company specializing in grinding lenses for optometrists, needed a more customizable and complete time and attendance system as it grew. After using its payroll provider’s system and then upgrading from NOVAtime 3000 Enterprise in 2007, the company chose the NOVAtime 4000 SaaS workforce management solution to keep pace with changing requirements and ensure access to the latest technology.

NOVAtime, implemented by Cincinnati Time Systems, migrated Cherry Optical’s rules, policies, and prior punch data into NOVAtime 4000 and integrated the system with Darwin payroll through NOVAtime Enterprise Web Services. The result was a smooth transition, real-time workforce management, and direct payroll data uploads without manual input, reducing duplicate data entry and simplifying integration; Cherry Optical said the technical support was fast and the overall experience was very positive.
